ROLAND S-550 Rack Mount Sampler with 99 S550/S50 disks

Roland S-550 2U rack mount sampler. This sampler was the best unit money could buy at one time. Its original list price was $3495.00. This unit has some surface scratches and rack marks and I would say its appearance is a 7.5 out of 10. It works beautifully, as any Roland product does but is sold as-is. It sounds great and it’s built like a tank! The S-550 can be controlled with a Roland MU-1 mouse (not included) or optional RC100 remote editor and can be connected to an RGB or standard video monitor for easy on-screen editing. If you’ve never used a Roland sampler with the monitor screen, you will love editing! Everything is graphic; waveforms, envelopes and even loops! A Mic/Line jack is on the front panel for easy access. Manual is not included, but can easily be found on eBay or elsewhere on the net. Power cord is included.

If you don’t know anything about this sampler, don’t bid, unless you plan on getting a manual. It’s not the simplest unit to learn to operate, but once you get it, it’s awesome.
